I got into aviation thanks to a copy of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 being given to me as a Christmas gift when I was a kid. Since then I spent 12 years in the Air Force as maintenance on cargo aircraft and got my Private Pilot Certificate during that time. Now, I fly as a corporate pilot on the Astra SPX (aka G100), work on warbirds with my A&P/IA certificate, and share my passion with other like-minded folks to help inspire the next generation of pilots and mechanics as President of my local EAA chapter.
