At eighty-two, it appears that I am the oldest pilot flying eSTOL at this time. I'm looking forward to attending the Creswell, Oregon STOL event in September. Because of its nice performance and stability, I have chosen to fly the American Scout (26” wheel) and will compete in the Backcountry class this season. My goal is to fly my plane to its maximum potential and to enjoy every second of it.
